I just heard on the news that the average American will consume over 2400 calories DURING THE SUPER BOWL TONIGHT!!!!   WOWZA!!!!!

Here's how much Americans are consuming this Super Bowl Sunday:
1.25 billion: chicken wings
100 million: Pounds of avocados
11.2 million: pounds of potato chips
8.2 million: Pounds of tortilla chips that will be consumed.
48 million:   that will order take-out
11 million: Slices of pizza Domino's will deliver
 
I don't know about you, but I think I will do my best to keep it down to just a few hundred.  I do not want to have to workout for the NEXT MONTH to try to negate eating for one night!!!!
 
 
here are a few recommendations to help you NOT consume 2400 calories:
1) skip the cheese laden dips, instead choose the hummus or guacamole
2) go for the veggies (skip the ranch dressing)
3) drink water with a little lemon or lime added to it instead of alcohol beverages
4)eat some healthy foods BEFORE you go to the party so you will be less likely to eat as much
5) instead of hanging out at the food table or in the kitchen, go watch the game :)
